With the rapid development of continuous hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel strip production and the advancement in welding and inspection technologies, the quality of welding has been continuously enhancing since 1930s. The specification of steel pipes and tubes has also increased day by day, and they have replaced the usage of seamless steel pipes and tubes in many fi elds. Due to the great improvement of production technology, high productivity and low cost, the welded steel pipe and tube production has grown rapidly and vigorously in recent years.
Due to the consideration of development strategies in global steel pipe market, YIEH PHUI established SHIN YANG STEEL CO., LTD. (hereinafter called SHIN YANG) and holds 100% of its shares. In March 2003, YIEH HSING’s steel pipe mill was acquired by YIEH PHUI. The Pipe Business Division, the forerunner of SHIN YANG, was then established and started operating. Since its commission in 1978, YIEH HSING has specialized in the manufacturing and sales of welded steel pipes over 30 years. The products include all kinds of black steel pipes, galvanized steel pipes, EMT steel pipes, rectangular pipes, API steel pipes, pipelines, etc. SHIN YANG now owns 9 pipe-forming equipment. Its annual capacity reaches 370,000 metric tons, and thus it is the largest steel pipe and tube producer for both structural and ordinary piping in Taiwan.
In order to enhance the quality of service and increase customer satisfaction, inheriting the intrinsic excellent corporate culture of E-United Group and Yieh Phui: innovation, growth, responsibility and continuity, quality and service management, SHIN YANG will keep providing services to the customers in Taiwan and all over the world. In order to ensure pipes and tubes meeting our customers’ expectation, SHIN YANG has implemented a comprehensive quality assurance program, and has been awarded ISO 9001, CNS, UL, FM, API and JIS certifi cates. We, furthermore, have succeeded in obtaining OHSAS 18001 and TAF's testing measurement laboratory certificate. SHIN YANG’s products have been delivered into international markets, especially to the U.S.A., Australia, and Japan. Our customers give our products high ratings. Our pipe and tube products are also designated for use by Taiwan state-owned enterprises.
SHIN YANG offi cially operates on March 1st, 2011, and the fi rst pipe was manufactured on May 1st in the same year. we have installed the pipe-forming equipment for middle-dimension pipe with annual capacity of 25,000mt and the production facilities for petroleum pipes and API casing (annual capacity: 120,000mt).
